About us

An outsourced exterior operations department

Worry Free Commercial is not a plowing contractor on a vendor list. We take responsibility for whether your property stays safe, accessible and operational — and we bring the people, equipment and systems to make that a commitment rather than a hope.

Our operating model

Focused attention, backed by large-company resources

The broader Worry Free organization has spent nearly three decades running snow operations in East Ottawa — thousands of residential properties, an extensive equipment base, a large seasonal workforce, established yards and proven dispatch systems.

Worry Free Commercial applies all of that to a deliberately smaller portfolio of commercial and institutional properties — the ones that need custom planning, tighter standards and someone accountable when conditions turn.

That is the whole model: a small-company relationship with large-company capacity behind it.

  • Nearly three decades of local East Ottawa winter operations
  • An extensive equipment base and a large seasonal workforce
  • Established yards, materials storage and dispatch systems
  • A deliberately limited commercial portfolio, so sites get real attention
  • Site-specific operating plans instead of one standard package
  • Post-event review on every significant storm

Operating philosophy

Solutions, not excuses.

Record snowfall. Freezing rain. A city grader burying an entrance at 5 a.m. A salt shortage in February. Equipment down mid-event. Every one of those is a real situation, and none of them is your problem to solve. Our job is to determine the solution, mobilize what it takes and execute it — then tell you what happened.

Equipment & crews

Matched to the site, not to whatever is available

Equipment selection is part of the specification. A tight condo lot with a narrow ring road does not get the same machine as an industrial yard, and walkways get dedicated crews and machines rather than leftover capacity.

Wheel loaders
Box plows and pushers for large lots, roadways and industrial yards where volume has to move fast.
Tractors
Manoeuvrable units for condo lots, tight ring roads and drive aisles that larger machines cannot work cleanly.
Trucks & plows
Route trucks for entrances, drive aisles and priority access, plus rapid response during active events.
Sidewalk units
Dedicated walkway machines and shovel crews so pedestrian surfaces are cleared and salted on their own standard.
Salting equipment
Lot spreaders and walkway spreaders with material tracking per pass, including freezing-rain response.
Removal capacity
Loaders and trucking for snow relocation and off-site removal when piles start costing you parking.

Insurance & compliance

Documentation your board, owner or insurer will actually accept

$5M
Commercial general liability coverage. Certificates issued on request for boards, owners and tenders.
WSIB
Compliant and in good standing, with clearance certificates available at any time.
Documented
Time-stamped service logs, GPS tracking and photo records retained and available for claim defence.
In writing
Specifications, changes and communication in writing, so there is no dispute about what was agreed.

Service area

Ottawa East, deliberately

Response time is a function of density. We concentrate our portfolio in Ottawa East, Orléans and Blackburn so equipment, crews and materials are close to the properties we serve — which is what makes tight triggers and overnight completion realistic instead of aspirational.

If your property sits outside the area, tell us anyway. We will either take it on properly or tell you honestly that we are the wrong fit.
